Legal basis for processing personal data

If we have obtained your consent for the processing of personal data, the legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a) GDPR.

If processing is necessary to fulfill a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures that are carried out on your request, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

If processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g. statutory retention requirements), the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c) GDPR.

If processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.d) GDPR.

If processing is necessary to safeguard our interests or the legitimate interests of a third party and if your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms do not outweigh your interests, Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit.f) GDPR is the legal basis.

Transfer of personal data to third parties and processors

As a matter of principle, we will not pass on any data to third parties without your consent. If this is the case, the transfer takes place on the basis of the aforementioned legal bases, e.g. when transferring data to online payment providers for the fulfillment of a contract or due to a court order or due to a legal obligation to surrender the data for the purpose of criminal prosecution, to avert danger or to enforce intellectual property rights.

We also use contract processors (external service providers e.g. for web hosting our websites and databases) to process your data. If data is passed on to the processors as part of an agreement for order processing, this always takes place in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. We carefully select our processors, check them regularly and have given us the right to issue instructions with regard to the data. In addition, the processors must have taken suitable technical and organizational measures and comply with the data protection regulations according to BDSG n.F. and DS-GVO.

Data transfer to third countries

The adoption of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) created a uniform basis for data protection in Europe. Your data will therefore mainly be processed by companies for which the GDPR applies. Should the processing by third party services take place outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, then these must meet the special requirements of Art. 44 ff. GDPR. This means that processing takes place on the basis of special guarantees, such as the establishment of a data protection level that is officially recognized by the EU Commission or compliance with officially recognized special contractual obligations, the so-called “standard contractual clauses”. In the case of US companies, submission to the so-called "Privacy Shield", the data protection agreement between the EU and the USA, fulfills these requirements.

Deletion of data and storage duration

The storage of data can be contradicted free of charge and informally without giving reasons. The objection should be sent by email to info@besthandlingtechnology.com or by post to Best Handling Technology GmbH, Ludwig-Rinn Straße 10, D-35452 Heuchelheim.

The deletion of the data will only be refused if this is necessary for evidence purposes or if it contradicts the statutory retention requirements. This includes, for example, commercial law retention obligations for business letters in accordance with Section 257 (1) HGB (6 years) and tax retention obligations in accordance with Section 147 (1) AO of documents (10 years). When the prescribed retention period expires, your data will be blocked or deleted, unless the storage is still necessary for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

Existence of automated decision-making

We do not use automatic decision-making or profiling.

These data serve the purpose of user-friendly, functional and secure delivery of our website to you with functions and content as well as their optimization and statistical analysis.

The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S.1 lit.f) GDPR, which is also in the above purposes.

For security reasons, we store this data in server log files for a storage period of days. After this period has expired, these are automatically deleted, unless we need to keep them for evidence purposes in the event of attacks on the server infrastructure or other legal violations.

YouTube videos

YouTube belongs to Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountainview, California 94043, USA, EU branch: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We have integrated the videos in the so-called "extended data protection mode" without cookies being used to record usage behavior in order to personalize the video playback. Instead, the video recommendations are based on the video currently being played. Videos played in an embedded player in enhanced privacy mode do not affect which videos are recommended to you on YouTube. When you start a video (click on the video), YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. The data obtained will be transferred to the USA and stored there. This also takes place without a user account with Google. If you are logged into your Google account, Google can assign the above data to your account. If you do not want this, you have to log out of your Google account. Google Maps

We have maps from "Google Maps" on our website (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountainview, California 94043, USA, EU branch: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) integrated. This enables us to display the location of addresses and directions directly on our website in interactive maps and enable you to use this tool.

When you visit our website, where Google Maps is integrated, a connection to the Google servers in the USA is established. Your IP and location can be transmitted to Google. In addition, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page. This also takes place without a user account with Google. If you are logged into your Google account, Google can assign the above data to your account. If you do not want this, you have to log out of your Google account. Analysis tools and advertising

This website uses the "Google Analytics" service offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. As part of the contract data agreement, which the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the information collected to compile an evaluation of website usage and website activity and provides services related to internet usage.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

You can also use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link takes you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can find more information on data usage by Google Inc. here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

This website uses "Google AdWords". AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

We use so-called conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

You can find more information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking in Google's data protection provisions: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

We also use the so-called remarketing function when using the Google AdWords service. With the remarketing function, we can present users of our website with advertisements based on their interests on other websites within the Google Display Network (on Google itself, so-called "Google Ads" or on other websites). For this purpose, the interaction of users on our website is analyzed, e.g. which offers the user was interested in, in order to be able to show users targeted advertising on other pages even after visiting our website. For this purpose, Google stores a number in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google Display Network. This number, known as a “cookie”, records the visits of these users. This number is used to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific computer and not to identify a person, personal data is not stored.

You can deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. You can find more information on Google Remarketing and Google's data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

This website uses the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies, only tags and does not collect any personal data. The service triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, this remains in effect for all tracking tags that are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.
