The ezzFAST is used wherever speed is of the essence. With it, goods can be moved and handled quickly, safely and ergonomically. Vacuum lifters are used in particular for transport between assembly stations, to test and work stations, for packaging, as well as for palletizing and order picking.
Typical containers that are moved and transported with the ezzFAST are materials such as bags, rolls and coils, products with smooth surfaces as well as small load carriers and cardboard boxes. With the appropriate load handling device, the vacuum lifter can be optimally adapted to different tasks.
The ezzFAST vacuum lifter also offers other special features. It can also be used with low room heights. Compact components are available for this, which significantly reduce the space required in height. The operating handle can also be adapted to high altitudes for products and tall boxes. The ezzFAST demonstrates great flexibility through the ability to quickly change the suction cups. There is also the option of rotating or tilting the container. The tilting and turning process can be supported electrically or pneumatically. With the ezzFAST, products weighing up to 400 kilo can be moved safely and intuitively.
The ezzFAST vacuum lifter in production
In the first application example, devices are assembled in an assembly line. For this purpose, components weighing up to 30 kilo must be removed from load carriers and placed in a housing. Several vacuum lifters have been installed at the assembly stations where heavy loads have to be moved. Each vacuum lifter is attached to a slewing crane and thus represents an independent workplace solution.
The solutions offer added value in three ways–safety, productivity and ergonomics. Safety: it is not possible to drop loads, if the vacuum pump fails, the load with the suction cup slowly sinks down. Productivity: the simple operation, the high lifting and lowering speed and the ease of movement of the crane bridges enable a high working speed. Thanks to the flexibility of the gripper, there is no need to change tools despite the large variety of products. The number of workplaces can be increased if necessary. Ergonomics: there is no physical strain, and easy moving and positioning of the boxes are rendered effortlessly.
The ezzFAST vacuum lifter is also the right choice while handling cardboard boxes
In this application example, the ezzFAST is used for shipping. This is about the handling and order picking of boxes up to 50 kilo. In the high-speed picking area, different boxes are removed from different source pallets and picked onto the opposite target pallets. The goal is to pick up the many boxes quickly and intuitively and move them to the individual target pallets, thereby massively increasing throughput and relieving the employees.

Best Handling Technology's solution for handling the bags is to install a twin overhead crane with several bridges, which allows several systems, consisting of bridge and vacuum lifter, to be picked up. This means that you can work at several workstations at the same time. Each bridge has its own vacuum pump, so that the number of workplaces can be expanded if necessary.
